The search and pursuit for new supports to display photographic work, combined with the ideas of sustainability and recycling are the backbone of this project. The idea is converting boxes that generally contained electronic devices, and that sooner or later would end up in a container, into carefully crafted artistic objects that house and exhibit the photographic work from the author’s archive. His gaze turns out to be the main theme of the exhibition, ranging from classic black and white to the vibrant colours of his Small World series.

The Festival Ojos Rojos and the MilicianXs group have organized a “Toast to Baylón”, a photographic exhibition in a tribute to the beloved Madrid photographer Luis Baylón, who passed away a year ago and who was a great friend of this festival.
